TMNT: Conclusion / Journal Entry: Tue Mar 27, 2007, 8:02 AM

yesterday, i managed to catch teenage mutant ninja turtles (or TMNT in the general media for the sake of our shortcut obsessed generation) in town and i gotta say.... it's good. the launch event of Command and Conquer 3 at the same venue did quite a bit to catch my attention but anyway that's not the main point. TMNT is a real classic fanboy revival flick that makes the old feels so fresh.

juz to leave the spoilers out of this mini review, TMNT goes back to the hard shell dudes' adventures, this time though, a temporal departure of the gang's lead, leonardo, causes a distancing between each of them, more particular between leonardo and raphael who's the only member in new york to continue fighting crime under a new identity. at the same time, the foot clan under the command of the female head, karai is involed in a seemingly sinister plot with tech industrialist Max Winters. The critical moment has come for the turtles to unite once again before a great danger that threatens to take over the world. In the midst of all these however, there's also an update on the ongoing relationship between april o'neal and casey jones.

that's all i can say for now. anyway the movie timeline come after the third live action TMNT flick so in this version, shredder's already dead, juz in case u are hoping to see his appearance.

5 stars out of 5, it's worth your ticket (it's worth my S$6.50), go watch it.
