If you have been a regular SBS bus rider, do you...
a).....desperately wish for some peace and quiet after receiving a earful from that ranting shrew of your boss ?
b).....endure through an audio barrage of loud mouth passengers and cell phones blasting music in speaker mode?
c).....endure getting sardined in an overcrowded bus with no seats available even as you are shagged after a hard day's work ?
d).....try hard to finish that Harry Potter book during your ride home?
e).....have much to complain about rising fares and longer waiting time for buses?
d).....think that Mediacorp artistes can't act but are really good at screaming and shouting and that Lifeline and Heartlanders are the best flop you have ever catch since VR Man?
If all (or at least half of) your answers is a resounding 'YES', then you must be thinking.....
"I HATE TV MOBILE AND I BLOODY WISH SOMEBODY COULD JUST SHUT THAT NOISE GENERATING CRAP UP !"
Yes, in Singapore, that somebody would be SBS Transit who has added to the wonderful experiences we already have with bus rides, a small TV (aka TV Mobile) strategically located in the corners of many buses.
This smart modification also ensured that its programming will not be wasted, audibly, by planting speakers that lined throughout the bus cabins for everyone's hearing pleasure.
Can't wait to get turn on by screaming aunties and cheesy love dialogues? Not to worry!
Most of the time, TV Mobile has its volume maxed up so that you can even hear the glass cracking by your window side seat! With added sound effects provided by an independent crew of rowdy passengers, HOW MUCH MORE COULD YOU ASK ?!!!
Of course, if you are mad enough to deny such privilege our ever so caring SBS Transit has provided (and refused to remove away even after a tidal wave of complaints), please voice your ungrateful displeasure at.....
.....and complain all you want about the great service SBS Transit has provided with TV Mobile!
And while you are at it, you can go show your sympathy with one of your 'guys' by reading his misleading account about his biased feelings towards TV Mobile......
So go. Spread the word. Let other fools join in your fun. And don't forget that overreacting petition of yours !!!
